Kids, Cooking and Father’s Day
Guy Fieri is passionate about many things. But at the top of his list is kids. Yours. Mine. And his.
I recently spent some time with him at the Better Homes and Gardens Chill and Grill Festival to learn more about his foundation, Cooking with Kids.
The mission of Cooking with Kids is to encourage and educate young people to learn how to cook for themselves and their families while instilling self-esteem, self-reliance, and a healthy lifestyle.
According to Fieri, the benefits of the mission extend far beyond the family table.
“Cooking with kids is not just about ingredients, recipes, and cooking,” he says. “It’s about harnessing imagination, empowerment, and creativity.”
