With business partner Steve Gruber, Guy opened Tex Wasabi’s Rock n’ Roll Sushi BBQ in Santa Rosa, CA, in 1999 followed by an outpost in Sacramento, CA., in 2005. Tex Wasabi’s combines two of Guy’s favorite foods; traditional Japanese sushi and traditional southern BBQ into what he calls not “fusion” but “con-fusion.”
